Oh Target!
Today I must confess… I went to Target.
I had some killer coupons on stuff I normally use, like Suave shampoo and DanActive drinks. I also wanted a good mopping solution for my wood floors. I went the Method method! I got the Method “Wood for Good” cleaner and a microfiber mop pad. I also got some Method wipes for the lovely bathroom cleaning chore.
I have to say, that floor cleaner is amazing. My wood floors, for once, FEEL clean. They look shiny and the cleaner smells good, kind of almondy and not too in-your-face cleaner. Wasn’t as impressed with the scent of the wipes, but whatever. They’re easy to use, the container is fantastic, and they’re made of bamboo which is a renewable resource. Epic win!
I also like the floor cleaning pad, though it’s made for the Method mop system and not my Swiffer head. As a result, it doesn’t connect quite properly. But I found a workaround I’m living with: elastic hair bands. I sacrificed a few for the job and they held the pad in place. The nice thing about the microfiber mop pad and the microfiber cloths I’m sticking to the Swiffer (thanks Matt and Beth!) is that when they’re nasty dirty (the mop head turned disgusting grey pretty quick), they can go in the wash and come back swinging. So I don’t have to buy more, I can just use them over and over!
