8 inches of snow. All area schools called off. Roads poorly plowed, if at all.
Opening late at work. Got shoveled out of parking spot and made it here with only a minimal amount of sliding.
5 staff members called off. Only 5. I’ve got 4-5 left. Susan apologized about 8 times on the message. No need.
No one is here. It’s too quiet.
But it’s still Friday, it’s still payday, I’ve still got my pigtail braids, my hazelnut coffee, and my Mardi Gras beads.
It will be an awesome day!
Went to the doctor this afternoon and she thinks it’s just a virus that has to run its course. So, my “prescription” is continuing what I’m already doing…Dayquil and fluids.
I payed $50 to have someone tell me that.
Either way, I’m glad to hear things were quiet…but I’m sure that’ll change tomorrow. I shall be there.
PS – I have a doctor’s note!
