Today I went in to work. Yes. On a Monday. I don’t do Mondays. But I did today. It was just for a couple soul-sucking meetings of sheer doom. Actually, they weren’t bad. The first one kept falling off topic when we could have just divided and conquered. However, I did get some more offers of assistance from another department for my persistent work issue. That was good.
Had to present something during the bigger meeting. That was nerve wracking but went okay. My favorite word was brought up: BONUS. Yes, I’m getting one. Exciting.
In a few minutes I’ma try to post a music review, unless I get distracted (which is bound to happen, btw). I’m going to try to locally host every song I review (except stuff that is meant for purchase). I have loads of bandwidth and disk space available, so I should use it a little.
Surprisingly enough, the staff meeting wasn’t all that bad…I think it was all the fancy slides and corny humor (and Cora’s clapping) that kept my ADHD mind from phasing off into dreamland…
And hearing BONUS was pretty nice, too…
